If you have TV sets that are connected to the local cable company, FIOS (Fiber Optic version of cable), or use either DirecTV or Dish Network, you may not need to do anything. If you have a TV set that is currently connected to any of these services, you should not have to do anything.
Some cable companies are upgrading their systems. If this is the case, they should contact you. You may need to obtain additional equipment from your cable provider tocontinue to get cable TV. Contact your cable company. Remember, the DTV transition is for “over-the-air” reception of television programs.
